Topic #5: Why Does This Exist?

Things Around Us

     I believe that every thing in our world exist for reason. A lot of time we wonder about it, and ask our selves why it is exist?

     Our world is interesting. Every day we explore a new fact or correct a past one. It is worthwhile to search about it. However, there are many reason to ask why something exist. One of the reason is because it is kind of annoying, such as the flies. Other reason is because it is amazing, such as butterfly. Also, it could be because we can not figure out the reason, just like this.

     The thing that I wonder why it is exist, and I really want to knew why is the dust inside the house. Even if the house is close, you will find the dust every where. Spicily because I live in the desert environment, this issue is annoying me a lot.

     Finally, I believe every thing in our world have some benefit, other wise it will not be complete.   

Last Blog: What's Next?

                                                My Last Blog For Advance Comp Class
    
     The last is always bring some of my feeling out even if it is a little. I kind of like the time of the last, which is I can not understand about my self, but I believe that the last always let the door open for the new. When the time for the last one come, I feel a little bit sorry, but much more about what next. This blog is the last for this class, but I am not sure if it is the door for being a blogger, for example.
    
     After this class or I could say this semester, I will go for my country for the Christmas break then came back here. I will continue studying for ALP program until I get the requirement score for the master degree. Also, I plan to work on having a job on the university as a first step of my goal, which I talk about on first class. I really wanted to go for the break then come back to continue what I start because I think this is not the last yet.
 
     However, I really like the time when I write the blog because I like to write a journals since I was a little girl in the middle school, but this hoppy stopped for a while. My first blog was for my intermediate comp class. It was in summer. After the end of that class, I decide to continue writing one day, but I do not knew that this one day will come soon. This day was when I start writing for my advance comp class.
    
     For my advance comp class, thank you, for letting me continue writing this blog.
  

Topic #7: Happiness

The Important Question 

     what make me happy? It is not the first time to ask my self this question, yet I did not find the right answer. When I think about it, I find that almost every thing could make me happy or sad in different situations. Though, I will share some of my thought with you. 

     The biggest event now a day in my life is my plan to visit my family. Even though, I was happy when I came here I am now happy to go home. See, the same thing in opposite situation make me happy, but in different way. 

     Another idea is some time small thing make me happier than big thing. For instance, small present with out any event will make me happy more than big present for my graduation. Even though I am happy with my graduation and the gift for sure, the other gift mean to me more because there is no direct reason to give it to me in this time. Also, there is no pressure.

     Other things I think it make me happy are the happiness of my family, the winter weather and clothes, being with my friends, hot sweet milk, my bed, billow and blanket, which is I miss, and other of many things.

     Finally, talking about happiness makes me happy. Thanks Professor May...

Topic #6: Pet Peeves

What Is My Pet Peeves?

     The most thing that I could call it Pet Peeve for me is when someone takes something from my stuff without my permeation. Then, he returns it in bad way. At that time, I hope I am in a good mood to handle this or it will be disaster time for hem.
   
   Actually, I was thinking that I did not have a lot of Pet Peeves, yet I find that I have a lot after I think about it. I can not talk about all of them because it will be embarrassing; in my opinion at least. Even though, I will share another one which is I heat when someone act like he knew me, knew how I think or what I like which is he did not.

     In brief, in our life there are a lot of Pet Peeves. We can not avoid it all, but at least we can make some control on our self. 

Topic #4: Senses

                      The Most Important Senses

     Do you have favorite smell? Or even sound or taste? Whatever, all these three and two other, which is hearing and sight, are important senses. No one wish that one day they will lose one of them. Actually it is to hard to me to name one of them, but if I should chose it will be the smell.

     The smell senses is important to me. I can say that I am the smell person. The smell can remand me the places, the event or even the people. I can not imagine my life without the smell, but as I said I have to.

     However, my choice for the smelling does not mean that it is less important than the other senses. On the other hand, the other senses it will be hard to live alone without it in the first time. I will need more help to bass the few first days. In brief, all my senses is important to me and I hope the day when I lose one of them is not coming.
  

Topic #3: Popularity, Accomplishment, or Organization?

Which One of The Three...

     As the tittle said, which one of the three is important popularity, accomplishment or organization? It is hard to choose between them, and it is hard also to say which one is better. However, this week blog will say something about that.

     

     First, it is cool to be popular in some places. It will give a lot of benefit, such as more friend, more relationship, and sometime a lot of work will done for you. On the other hand, the popular people have a lot of thing to care about more than the regular people. They should care too much about what they doing because there are many people interested on what they did and what they will do. In brief, popularity has two saids positive and negative.

     Second, in short, the accomplishment is power. It gives the people kind of feeling that it hard to find from other things. It is the feeling of success after hard working. It gives the motivation to go forward. However, all this felling it just when the person win, but sometime it gives some bad feeling like disappointed after struggling in one place.

     The third, it is something nice to have some organization in your life and every thing go as you plan. The organization makes our life easier. Maybe sometime its lead to make our life in routine which something I did not prefer. Moreover, not always the life give us what we want at the time that we need or the time that we plan to have it. In brief, even the organization is useful for our life, we do not know what the time cover for us.

     Finally, all the three have something from my personality, yet I can not decide for sure which one has the biggest part, but I think it is the organization...   

Topic #2: Time Travel..

Travelling By The Time... 

     Time Travel is the dream for any one like to imagine and travel with his dream. My be it is good and maybe not. I would like for this thing to happen. I would like to see what they will do what they will change. I would like to see if our life will be better or worse. Even I don't believe if that will happen some day, I would like to imagine, dream and think. 

       I assume if I go back to my past I will not change any thing. I just want stand and take look to what happen in my past. I would look for every thing from a way, the day's at my family's farm and the day when they pay it, my intermediate school, my family's camps, my graduate from high school and the university, my uncle's death and my day's here in U.S.A from the first day until today. All that happen in my past, I wouldn't change it if I can because all these was and stile the reason for all what happen now and what will happen later in my life. I am happy with every thing have done in my life, happiness or sadness, every thing.

     For whom have done some mistakes and they think that they had a choice to not do that, I hope that day will come, and they have a choice to go back or stay at where they end. Even thou having mistakes is the natural in human being. And almost every body wish if they didn't do any mistake in there life. So, we should think more about the future and what we can do for it because it is what we really have in our hand.

   

     

Topic #1: What do You Want to be Remembered for?

What To Remembered..

 

     After along time every body will leave this life, and they will not take with them any of there property. But the must important thing that they will leave is memories. Memories are the first thing people will think about after they hear about your leaving. So, what kind of memories would you like to keep in all these people mind? This is a hard question we should answer before we lose the time for it.

 

     For me, I would like people remember a lot of thing, one of them is my smile. I would like them to remember my face while I am smiling, so that make them feel kind of happiness. The other important thing is what I will do in my life. I mean I plan to become an academic person and work for the KSU as a Dean, and do a lot of useful thing that make a good change for the university, so I would like them to remember me as a person who work hard.

 

     At the end, there are a lot of thing that you can make people remember you with it, but you can now decide which one you would like the most and work for it. It is depend to where you live and what you do. Think about it then tell me.   

Topic 7 - Summer & Beyond

First summer class..

 

     As first summer class I take, I can not tell if it is the best, but I am sure it is not the worst. I never took summer class before even in my country, so I feel tired and I didn't have time as usual. On the other hand, summer class brought with it many things, such as memories, events, relation and a lot of information.

 

     This summer was and still is a new experince to me. A lot of thing happen on it, like first Ramadan without my whole family in America, Six flag, first blog, typing in English and other thing. It was different from spring semester in some way.

 

     I don't know if I am happy or sad with the end of the semester. But for the fall semester I am sure I am excited and plan to do my best.

 

     Finally, in the last blog I would say I was happy and I enjoyed every blog I read. And I would thank you all for this especially Mrs. Tong.

Topic 6 - Advice..

To My cousin..

Dear cousin..

     First thing I would say is I am happy that you will come here. I know how it is hard to leave the place that you used to live on it and your family. But the important thing that you take a great big decision. So, bravooo. 

     To come here I am sure that you think a lot, but now you should think about what will happen after you arrive to USA. First, make a plan. The plan should include what you will do in first three day since you arrive, where you will live, what kind of transportation you will used, where you will go and what you will eat. Then, make sure that you will not need to buy anything from there for month at least, so  bring everything that you will need for a few weeks except the food which you will find it easy to have.

     After you came here and everything going OK with you, do not forget that you can not live alone, so make some and not a lot friends. It is your chance to make friendships variety on different countries.
    
     Finally, I will not told you everything, so you can take the chance to experience that by yourself. The last advice I will say to you and I think it is important is that you will have your story to tell one day so make it in better way.

Topic 5 - Dream Job .

One Dream From My Childhood..

     Whine I was child some one ask me "what do you want to be when you grew up?" I answer this surprise question with "I will be a doctor." Since that day, being a doctor is my dream job. At that time I didn't knew that I can be a doctor in many science. But when I recognize this I decide to study something related in business. After that I read about the accounting job, and I find myself on it. So, my dream job is to be a doctor in accountancy, accounting science, and work with my degree in KSU as The Dean of Business and Administration College. Then The Dean Of KSU. 

Topic 4 - Places You Recommend

Place I Would Like to Visit One Day..

       Cape Town is an amazing city in south Africa. The city was called the World Design Capital for 2014 by the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design. The first time I see picture for it I said "One day I will be there." And until now when I see it I said the same thing. It has a beautiful view on the beach, luxurious and comfortable places to live, mountain and many thing. A lote of  tourists destination or tourism and recession. If you visit it before please tell me about it.

Topic 3 - Disastrous Vacation

Day I Will Not Forget It..

     One day my family and me were camping outside the city. My brother went to the city to bring something, and we expect him to come by the sunset But he didn't come. I spent all the time call him, but I didn't get any answer.The thing that sparked fear in myself was my father left the camp with my cousin without say anything.. I stayed awake all night looking around the camp to see if I can recognize my father or my brother cars.. At the morning my father came and take us to our home. Then we know that my brother had an accident and he was at the hospital. Now, my brother is fine, but this vacation was disastrous. 

Topic 2 - Differences between Your Country and the U.S.



Small Different Thing ..

 

 



     There is a similarity between Saudi Arabia and U.S.,such as the driver sits in the right side on the car. On the other hand, there are small differences like in Saudi Arabia we have wall around the house with door.This door is the entrance from the street to  the yard of the house. And there is another door to the house, the regular one. And there in U.S. you can make your order for a restaurant and buy for it on line, but in Saudi Arabia I didn't know if there any restaurant use this way now, but I think that is possible soon. Finally, It's small different thing I didn't notice it until I think.

     My name is Areej. I am from Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, where I was born. I am the oldest between my brother and sister. I was live in my parents house before this time, but now I live with my brother in own apatment on United State of America, Fullerton. I am a student at California state university Fullerton. I study at ALP to improve my English language for the university. I would like to study accountancy at this school. For this I need to improve my language and take the GMAT, so I can study the master degree. The most important thing in my life is my family after my religion. I used to draw some time when I graduated from my univesity. My draw was more about cobying than imagination.This is some thing about me.
